Lovre Marušić in 2006 started his musical education with Professor Natalia Troull in Moscow
(Central Music school at the P. I. Tschaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory) which he
successfully finished in 2011. He continued with his piano studies at the Music Academy in
Zagreb under Ruben Dalibaltayan and Ljubomir Gašparović where he has finished his
Master’s degree. He is currently studying at Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar
under Grigory Gruzman. During his studies he has been working with prominent professors
and pianists (Naum Grubert, Mikhail Olenev, Peter Eicher, Snežana Panovska, Evgeny
Starodubtsev, Szokolay Balázs, Dmitry Bashkirov, Danijel Detoni, Malcolm Bilson, Kemal
Lovre Marušić has taken part in various national and international competitions and he has won several prizes such as: first prize on 20th «Santa Cecilia» International Piano Competition in Porto, Portugal (2018), first prize on IMF International Piano Competition in Paris, France (2018), first prize on International Piano Competition New Stars in Manchester, UK (2016), first prize on World Piano Teachers Assosiation International Piano Competition in London, UK (2017), first prize and absolute winner of the competition, jury and public award on International Piano Competition Isidor Bajić in Novi Sad, Serbia (2016), first prize and best interpretation of J. S. Bach on International Competition Jurica Murai in Varaždin, Croatia (2016), just to mention few.
Lovre Marušić is a member of Vladimir Spivakov fondation. As a soloist and chamber musician he performs on various festivals and concert series across Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Germany, Lichtenstein, Russia, Ukraine, Japan and USA.
He performed with orchestra of Croatian National Theatre in Split under mo. Ivan Repušić, Irkutsk Phillharmonic under mo. Ilmar Lapinshem, Zagreb Phillharmonic under maestro Zoran Juranić, Croatian National Television and Radio Symphony Orchestra under maestro Ivo Lipanović, El sistema Serbia Orchestra under mo. Gerard Estrada and many others.
He is appointed as a assistant professor - piano department on Music Academy in Zagreb, Croatia, having master classes and was a jury member in Belgrade and Novi Sad, Serbia. Lovre Marušić is recording for KNS his debut CD and is a executive and artistic director of Ostinato chamber festival in Omiš, Croatia. His performances in season 2018/2019 includes recitals in Cologne and Kassel (Germany), performances with Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra in Zagreb, Croatia (Lisinski hall), Voyvodina Symphony Orchestra in Novi Sad, Serbia, and Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra in Dubrovnik, Croatia, several recitals in Portugal, recital in Paris, France and recitals in Zadar and Split, Croatia, to mention few.
